🌶️ Grilled Paneer Skewers with Dahi Ki Chutney Marinade

Grilled Paneer Skewers

🧺 Ingredients (Serves 2–3):

For the marinade:

  • 3 tbsp Mummy's Magic Dahi Ki Chutney
  • 200 gm paneer (cut into cubes)
  • 1 tbsp hung curd (or thick yogurt)
  • 1 tsp roasted besan (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil (or olive oil)

Veggies for skewers:

  • 1 small onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 small capsicum, diced
  • 1 small tomato, deseeded and cubed

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Prep the marinade: In a large bowl, combine Mummy's Magic Dahi Ki Chutney, hung curd, spices, salt, lemon juice, and oil. Whisk until smooth
  2. Marinate the paneer and veggies: Add the paneer cubes and vegetables to the marinade. Toss gently to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (longer is better)
  3. Skewer it up: Thread the marinated paneer and veggies alternating them on the skewers
  4. Grill or otherwise:
    1. Grill: On a hot grill or grill pan, cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until nicely charred
    2. Oven: Preheat oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Bake for 12-15 minutes, finish with a quick broil for a smoky finish
    3. Air Fryer: Air fry at 200 degrees Celsius for 10-12 minutes until golden brown
  5. Serve: Plate the skewers hot, drizzle with extra Dahi Ki Chutney and sprinkle some fresh coriander or chaat masala

🧄 Serving Suggestion:

Pair with Mummy's Magic Dahi Ki Chutney, lemon wedges, and a side salad. Great as a starter, wrap filling, or a protein rich snack!
