Grilled Paneer Skewers
🧺 Ingredients (Serves 2–3):
For the marinade:
- 3 tbsp Mummy's Magic Dahi Ki Chutney
- 200 gm paneer (cut into cubes)
- 1 tbsp hung curd (or thick yogurt)
- 1 tsp roasted besan (optional)
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 tbsp mustard oil (or olive oil)
Veggies for skewers:
- 1 small onion, cut into chunks
- 1 small capsicum, diced
- 1 small tomato, deseeded and cubed
🔥 Instructions:
- Prep the marinade: In a large bowl, combine Mummy's Magic Dahi Ki Chutney, hung curd, spices, salt, lemon juice, and oil. Whisk until smooth
- Marinate the paneer and veggies: Add the paneer cubes and vegetables to the marinade. Toss gently to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (longer is better)
- Skewer it up: Thread the marinated paneer and veggies alternating them on the skewers

Grill or otherwise:
- Grill: On a hot grill or grill pan, cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until nicely charred
- Oven: Preheat oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Bake for 12-15 minutes, finish with a quick broil for a smoky finish
- Air Fryer: Air fry at 200 degrees Celsius for 10-12 minutes until golden brown
- Serve: Plate the skewers hot, drizzle with extra Dahi Ki Chutney and sprinkle some fresh coriander or chaat masala
🧄 Serving Suggestion:
Pair with Mummy's Magic Dahi Ki Chutney, lemon wedges, and a side salad. Great as a starter, wrap filling, or a protein rich snack!
