
Breakfast Pizza recipe

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Here's a quick and easy way to make your family a delicious breakfast pizza that everyone will love.
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made pizza base (or you can make it yourself with Maida and dry yeast)
- 1/2 cup Mummy's Magic Smoked Salsa (for the base sauce)
- 1-2 tbsp Mummy's Magic Chilli Sauce (for an extra taste boost)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup baby spinach leaves
- 2-3 sliced green chillies
- 1 tbsp Mummy's Magic Garlic Chilli Crunch (for topping)
- Freshly cracked black pepper and salt, to taste
- Fresh herbs (basil or coriander) to taste
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Method:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven or microwave to 220 degrees Celsius (or High on Microwave) and place a wire rack/ baking sheet in the oven to heat
- Prepare Pizza Dough: If making your own, knead Maida with activated yeast water, cover and leave for 20-30 minutes until the dough has risen. Roll the dough on a flat surface and transfer to the wire rack for baking
- Add Smoked Salsa: Generously cover the pizza base with a layer of Mummy's Magic Smoked Salsa leaving a small border area for the crust
- Layer the Toppings: Drizzle the Chilli Sauce for an extra kick to the sauce, add the cheese and all other toppings. Drizzle some extra virgin olive oil on top
- Add Egg (optional): For an extra protein boost, make a small dent in the pizza and crack a whole egg into it. Season the egg with a pinch of salt and freshly cracked black pepper
- Bake the Pizza: Carefully transfer your pizza to the oven (or microwave) and bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden-brown, the cheese is bubbling and the egg is cooked to your liking
- Finish: Finish the hot pizza with a drizzle of Mummy's Magic Garlic Chilli Crunch, herbs and a slight sprinkle of salt and pepper
- Slice and Serve Hot!
